Preamble of Anonymous Compulsive Eaters – OA
Compulsive Eating Anonymous is a brotherhood of individuals who, sharing their experience, strength and hope are recovering from the compulsion for food. We welcome all those who wish to stop eating compulsively.
There are no subscriptions or fees for members; We hold ourselves through our own contributions, we do not accept or solicit contributions from outside.
OA is not affiliated with any public or private organization, political party, ideology or religious doctrine; We do not enter into controversies in other people’s affairs. Our primary goal is to abstain from compulsive eating and compulsive behaviors with food and carry the message of recovery through the twelve steps of OA to those who still suffer.
